How to Find Your Day Master
Your Day Master is calculated from your birth date using the Chinese sexagenary cycle — a 60-day calendar that has run continuously for millennia. The calculation involves:
- Your Gregorian birth date (year, month, day)
- A reference date (January 1, 1900 = Jia Xu day)
- Counting the days between your birth and the reference
- Applying modulo 10 to find your Heavenly Stem
While the math isn't complex, doing it manually requires reference tables. The easier path: use a BaZi calculator that handles the conversion automatically. Once you know your Day Master, explore how the Five Elements shape your personality →
